Red Edge Concepts
Red Edge Concepts is a family business owned and run by husband and wife David and Khatuna.
Degree educated in Business and Law respectively, David and Khatuna have naturally grown Red Edge Concepts from nothing to the successful sustainable business model it is today. Their guiding principles revolving around honesty and integrity, they have both sought to build business relationships and maintain these for long healthy reciprocal business opportunities.
Today, our experiences and relationships have resulted in an SME with big business scope and attitude and global relationships spanning most countries. Both directors have built the business with partnerships in mind but simultaneously maintaining a very strict approach to sustainability from the very beginning of business, in an industry which has grown a reputation for mass waste.

Red Edge Concepts was formed by husband and wife pursuing several business ideas whilst at University.
With an old university laptop and a spare room in Stevenage, Khatuna starts Red Edge Concepts trading full time as a redistribution agent for clothing wholesalers across the UK. Red Edge Concepts has no contacts or capital.

Khatuna and David have their first child, Georgia. She attends meetings with Khatuna and all our customers associate Georgia with Red Edge Concepts.
Khatuna has built a core customer base and by listening to customer wants, develops her supplier relationships and is able to offer a ‘Don’t ask, don’t get’ attitude towards requests.
Khatuna and David have their second child, Alexander. He also begins to attend meetings with Khatuna and also becomes part of the Red Edge Concepts family.
David starts working full time for Red Edge Concepts able to collect and deliver stock.
Red Edge Concepts sources its first lot of owned stock and occupies a self-storage facility in which they become the single largest space taker of that facility within 4 weeks, excluding the 40+ pallets lining the corridors.
Georgia and Alexander are occupied by toys and fall asleep most evenings wrapped in bedding and on the pile of cardboard they were previously playing on and occasionally getting dragged into helping create the children’s clothing mixes that really drove the start of business growth for Red Edge Concepts.
Having quickly outgrown the self-storage facility, Red Edge Concepts takes on its first warehouse unit. They also employee the first two employees to work alongside the Directors.
Further redistribution channels are established and the stock held by Red Edge Concepts diversifies and we begin to offer clearance services to almost any kind of product.
Further team member hires are made and the warehouse facility is pushed to its limits with just enough space to park the forklift at the end of each day.
A new warehouse with dedicated office space and meeting rooms is taken on and Red Edge Concepts rebrands along side its move to a much more suited facility.
Red Edge Concepts has built a redistribution business based entirely on word of mouth with mail shots playing a ‘top up’ style element to work flow.
Further suppliers are approached directly and the business builds some partnerships with some of the worlds largest brands as well as local businesses offering support in clearance of excess stock.
Maui, the Dobermann joins the business adding to the family image. A super friendly puppy that almost all customers know and love immediately.
COVID takes hold of the world. Red Edge Concepts continues to reliably aid its partners in clearance and holds more stock in more product ranges than ever before over a 3-week period of closure.
Red Edge Concepts reopens its doors after lockdown and continues to redistribute sustainably starting nearly a dozen new redistribution partnerships within a month of restrictions being lifted.
A new partnership for redistribution is also formed in South America opening an entirely new market place, and opportunity for re-loved products to be distributed.
